RESEARCH POTENTIAL AREAS

I am dedicated to understanding the experience of bereavement and how this experience is influenced by the demographic backgrounds of the individuals such as cultures and religions. At the same time, I have also been involved in research projects exploring the coping mechanisms of individuals with health problems, utilizing their religious and spiritual beliefs. This includes the exploration of meaning making of individuals in question, integrating the ways these individuals seek meaning in their lives. Recently, I have expanded my interests, focusing on the mental health of victims of cyberbullying. I am interested to see how internal and external resources can be used as a platform for reducing suicide among these victims of cyberbullying.
