Hipolitus Wangge has served as a consultant for an international agency as well as various ministries and agencies in Indonesia. Most recently, he acted as a research consultant for a report focusing on Economic Relations between Indonesia and the member countries of the Melanesian Spearhead Group in 2024. This report was carried out under the auspices of, and with sponsorship from, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Fiji.

I specialize in exploring ethno-religious and nationalist conflicts across Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. My areas of focus include comparative politics, regionalism and foreign policy in the Global South, and indigenous politics in Asia and the Pacific.
